Intensive Dates: November 8-10, 2018
In this course we will trace the progress of the Church of Jesus Christ from the close of the Apostolic Era to the Middle Ages just prior to the Protestant Reformation. Careful attention will be given to the development of theological precision amid the political, sociological, and spiritual contexts of the saints. Students will examine the major points of divergence in the early church, and consider how the lessons of the past inform our current pursuit of doctrinal fidelity and corporate unity.
